Good questions, straight answers

Booking, pricing and warranty

Will I reach a real person when I call, even late at night?

Yes. Ring (02) 9072 0502 at any hour and a real human picks up, day or night, so you speak to a licensed plumber, not an answering machine, when something has gone wrong.

How fast can a plumber reach me in an urgent situation?

We put an unstoppable leak, a gas smell or rising sewage at the front of the queue, and a stocked van heads your way the moment one comes free.

Is the call out fee genuinely nothing?

It is. The $0 call out fee covers the visit and the on-site quote, and nothing is payable until you approve the written price for the work.

Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?

No. There are no overtime rates here, so a job booked on a Sunday or a public holiday is charged no differently from one booked on a Tuesday morning.

How does the fixed price work?

Your plumber looks at the job, then hands you one price in writing before starting. That price covers the agreed work start to finish, and the invoice matches it, with nothing added later.

Is your workmanship guaranteed?

Every job carries our Lifetime Labour Warranty. Should anything fall short we return and correct it at no charge, because the guarantee outlasts the visit itself.

In an apartment or an older home

Do you take on apartment and strata work?

A large share of the work sits in the high-rise near the station, covering shared hot water systems, common-property pipe and in-unit repairs, and we sort access and sign-off with the building or strata manager.

The pressure in my old cottage keeps dropping, why?

Many pre-war cottages off Botany Road still run original galvanised pipework that corrodes from the inside, narrowing the bore and choking the flow. Swapping the tired runs restores pressure and cleans the water.

After a storm my yard and drains flood, is that yours to fix?

Yes. The flat, filled streets near the bay sit low, so a downpour on a spring tide overloads the trunk drainage and lifts water back through the yard pits, and we clear the choked line.

Can you service a shared hot water system in a block?

We do. We work on central and individual plant behind locked doors, arranging the outage and the strata approval first, then making any leak safe before sorting the repair or a system change.

Emergencies and safety

I can smell gas. What should I do before you arrive?

If you smell gas, leave the property and call from outside, do not flick switches or light flames, and close the meter valve where you can safely reach it. Then ring us and stay clear.

When does a plumbing problem become an emergency?

The clear cases are a burst you cannot isolate, a gas smell, or sewage rising indoors, since each keeps doing harm until it is shut down. If unsure, call and describe it.

Which suburbs beyond the airport do you cover?

Alongside the airport precinct, the same crews reach Botany, Rosebery, Eastlakes, Wolli Creek and Tempe, and each of those neighbours has a page of its own covering the local streets and housing.

Are your plumbers licensed and insured?

Yes, every plumber works under licence #275278C with full insurance, and the compliance certificates your paperwork needs come with the invoice rather than only on request.

Anything else

Do you fix both small jobs and major work?

Both. The same team changes a dripping tap or a running cistern and takes on burst mains, sewer repairs and full hot water changes, so one call covers whatever the house throws up.

Can you locate a hidden leak?

Yes. Damp appearing with no visible cause usually points to a concealed pipe, and we trace it with proper detection before opening any wall, so the repair stays small and the guesswork stops.

What payment options do you take?

We take card and cash, and larger jobs can be spread over a payment plan. Either way, you pay only the price you approved in writing, with no surcharge for choosing one method over another. Still stuck? The whole service range is laid out on the home page, and an urgent problem goes to emergency plumbing or straight to (02) 9072 0502 any time.
